Transfer Evaluation

During an employee’s career with NMSU, they may transfer to different units/departments within NMSU, either in the same job, or in a completely new job. When this occurs, the employee is entitled to an annual evaluation that includes feedback from supervisors for all the positions the employee held during the calendar year.

At the time of transfer, the outgoing supervisor will complete a performance evaluation, which will then be provided to the new supervisor. This will greatly assist the new supervisor to complete the annual evaluation when it is due. It will provide feedback on the employee’s performance, as well as progress toward established goals.

The transfer evaluation can be completed on the fillable form that is available on OPR’s website.
