The AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) represents regular, non-probationary, full-time and part-time, non-exempt Employees of NMSU (subject to provisions in Article 4, Section 1). The original agreement was negotiated in 2006-2007 and was effective May 23, 2007. Each contract is effective for 3 years, and is subject to re-negotiations. The current CBA was effective August 25, 2022 and is in effect through June 30, 2025, or until a new agreement is negotiated.
